Experience in a Veterinary Clinic would be preferred

SENIOR VETERINARY NURSE

CareVets are currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Veterinary Nurse to join the team at our Te Atatu Branch

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

• Have at least 3 years experience working in a companion animal practice.
• Be able to demonstrate leadership & organisational qualities Required in a busy Vet Clinic
• Have experience with Stock control
• Have great communication skills both verbal & written
• Have the ability to work well within a team
• Have excellent customer service with attention to detail
• Have efficient time management skills
• Have excellent computer skills – experience with Vision would be an advantage
• Be able to self motivate and show initiative
• Must have a recognised Veterinary Nurse Qualification, be a NZ resident or have a current NZ Visa

As we are a companion animal practice this role offers a mixture of surgical and hospital nursing as well as reception duties.

This will be a full time position with rostered hours and includes weekend work.
