Although from Manchester originally, I moved to New Zealand for vet school many years ago now, and NZ has most definitely become home.
I have worked in Companion Animal practice in Dunedin and Christchurch as well as in the UK and have travelled and volunteered in many parts of the world including working with street animals in Guatemala, big cats in the Bolivian jungle and with SPAW in the Pacific Islands.
I have a strong interest in veterinary dermatology and also pocket pet medicine, especially rabbits and I have my own bitsa bunny who is not quite lop-eared, thinks he’s a dog and takes great delight in tormenting my elderly cat.
