Thinking of leaving the country?

At CareVets we can help you with any questions you may have about moving your pet to a different country.

The most important thing to do is plan ahead. Different countries have very different requirements for pet imports, and in some cases, it can take months to carry out appropriate vaccination and testing.

Many of our Veterinarians hold their certification for Australian exports and can also advise you on the export requirements for the country you are planning to move to. In New Zealand, certification for export to Australia can be carried out by clinicians, but many other country exports are certified by government employed Veterinarians.
