The Vet Centre Waiuku has a suite of medical, diagnostic and surgical facilities along with a range of pet food and supplies. We can help with a sore tooth, a mystery lump, an itchy paw and everything in between.

For our dairy, beef, sheep, equine and lifestyle farmers we also offer a range of veterinary healthcare services. We will work with you to ensure we are aligned to your farming goals and assist you in keeping your animals happy and healthy.

Sharon is originally from Thailand, however, he first came to New Zealand to attend high school in Oamaru before graduating from Massey University Veterinary School in 2015. He then worked in Thailand and Australia before returning to New Zealand as a practicing Veterinarian. He has a passion for cats in particular.

Rachael qualified with a Diploma of Veterinary Nursing from Unitec Auckland in 2016.

Rose
DVN
Veterinary Nurse

Rose joined the CareVets team at the end of 2018 after graduating from Vet Nurse Plus with her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She has a passion for fur babies, especially cats and dogs. Rose has 3 gorgeous fur babies of her own – Nala the Rottweiler X Huntaway and Daisy & Duma, her feline babies who are also siblings that she fostered and had found their forever home with Rose. In her spare time you’ll find Rose spending time with family, friends and her partner. You’ll often see her out and about at the local beach or forestry spending quality time with Nala. She has started cross fit classes locally and is thoroughly enjoying this.

Sammi
BVN
Veterinary Nurse

Sammi graduated at the end of 2021 and joined The Vet Centre team in 2022. She was able to do a lot of her study placements at the Waiuku clinic and enjoyed it so much she took on a full time role. Sammi grew up in Onewhero and has an array of animals at home – both domestic and farm. Her favourite parts of the job so far are the cat lion clips and taking care of the animals for surgery.

Louise
Administrator

Louise moved from the North Shore to paradise (Waiuku) in 2016. She works as an Office Administrator at CareVets and especially enjoys working with such an amazing team and caring for people and their pets. She is the proud owner of Nellie, a Doberman and her moggy cat, Dora. Her spare time is spent loving her family and pets. Lou also enjoys nature walks and gardening.
