Description
NexGard Spectra® is a broad-spectrum parasite protection chewable for dogs that delivers complete monthly control of many of the most common parasites affecting dogs in New Zealand. It combines two active ingredients — afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime — in an easy, beef-flavoured chew.
Taken once every month, it helps protect against external parasites like fleas and ticks, as well as mites. It also treats and controls key internal parasites including roundworms, hookworms and whipworms, and helps prevent flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum) infestations when used regularly.
Because it is an oral chew, NexGard Spectra is absorbed into the bloodstream and is not affected by bathing, swimming, or shampooing. It can be given with or without food and is suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age (≥2 kg).
