Talia graduated in 2025 with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She gained hands-on experience in clinics across Hamilton during her studies and began working as a junior veterinary nurse and receptionist shortly before qualifying.

She is passionate about animal wellbeing and enjoys all aspects of clinic life, particularly supporting patients and helping owners feel informed and reassured. One of her most memorable experiences has been rescuing a sick kitten, who is now a beloved family pet and a constant reminder of why she loves her work.

Outside of work, Talia enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and her cat. Her long-term goal is to support improved animal health and welfare within Pasifika and Māori communities through education and preventative care.
