Our Team:

Dr Sally Browning
BVSc
Lead Veterinarian

Sally graduated from Massey University in 1995 and started her career in the huge metropolis of Patea. It didn’t take her long to realise that her heart was in Companion Animal practice – this has been her focus for the last 20+ years. Sally really enjoys getting to know her patients & their people, while keeping them healthy through all life stages. She enjoys following equestrian sports, gardening & hanging out with her two favourite kitties Scotti & Paddy.

Rachel
Clinic Coordinator

Rachel has been working for CareVets in front of house since COVID lockdowns were the norm (it made for interesting and fast learning). In her past life she worked at the SPCA for over 20 years in various roles, having completed the ‘Animal Welfare and Investigations’ certificate at Unitec. Her family pets at present include two cats, and two bonded bunnies, all adopted from the SPCA. In her spare time, the little she has with kids, Rachel likes to read, tramp with her friends and forage for rabbit food.

Georgia
Lead Veterinary Nurse

Georgia is a fully qualified Diploma Veterinary Nurse and has been working for CareVets since 2019. She absolutely loves all things nutrition and animal behaviour. When she’s not here at Hamilton South she’s over at our Rototuna branch, where you’ll also catch her teaching Puppy Preschool along side her colleague Nat. Georgia has two cats; BlackBerry, who is a very spicy 3 legged girl, and her little foster fail Huey.
