Dr Janie Johnson graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2011 and a Bachelor of Medical and Information Sciences in 2001. She has been working with CareVets Kapiti and CareVets Porirua since 2024.

Janie loves her profession, valuing both the people and animals she works with, and finds great fulfilment in achieving positive medical and surgical outcomes for her extended “fur family.”

Outside of work, Janie enjoys running, hiking, rock climbing, and skiing with her family. At home, she cares for a diverse menagerie of animals, including cats, birds, rabbits, axolotls, and reptiles.
