Mel has been working in the veterinary industry since graduating as a veterinary nurse in 2006. Without pets of her own, she makes the most of every opportunity to spoil her patients as much as possible.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys adventures with her young daughter and travelling around Aotearoa whenever she can.
