Hill’s Prescription Diet® y/d Thyroid Care Dry Cat Food is a complete therapeutic diet formulated to help reduce excess thyroid hormone production in cats with hyperthyroidism. It is the only clinically proven nutrition to decrease thyroid hormone (T4) production in 3 weeks when fed as the sole source of nutrition.
This formula includes limited iodine, reduced sodium, and controlled phosphorus to reduce stress on the thyroid, kidney and heart systems. Also enriched with L-carnitine to support lean body condition and omega-6 fatty acids for visible improvements in skin and coat.
